In general most photographic work could be broadly classified into two; documentary and fine art. Abstract photography falls into the fine art category, it’s main purpose is not to inform the viewer but to act as a means to engage and excite, create an emotional response in the viewers’ minds. Hence color, form, patterns, shapes, textures and lines take center stage while the actual content or context becomes irrelevant.
When called upon to photograph architecture and interiors, we come across many subjects that make great abstracts, here are few examples of such shots taken from our various shoots for your inspiration.
