In this tutorial let us discuss how to apply a tattoo to a photo.
Either click File > Open or keyboard short cut Ctrl + O.
Open the photo
Either click File > Open or keyboard short cut Ctrl + O.

Select the Tattoo
Select the tattoo image you wish to apply to your photo.

Copy the Tattoo
Use the marquee tool to select the tattoo, either click Edit > Copy or use short cut Ctrl + C to copy the tattoo on to the clipboard.

Paste the Tattoo
Select our target picture and either click Edit > Paste or use keyboard short cut Ctrl + V to paste the tattoo. The tattoo image will be inserted in a new layer on top of the existing background layer.

Blend The Tattoo
In the layers palette right click on the tattoo layer and in blending options, select Multiply. The white background of the tattoo magically disappears.

Transform the Tattoo
Either click Edit > Transform > Scale or use keyboard shortcut Ctrl + T to transform the tattoo image to a size fitting our target picture.

Once you are satisfied with the size right click and select wrap. Now you can adjust the controls to obtain the desired effect.

Set opacity for the Tattoo
Select the tattoo layer and play with the opacity slider to set it to a pleasing opacity level.
